2015 ASA T30 postal swim
Four master swimmers from Isle of Wight Marlins Swimming Club, were successful in the annual ASA T -30 Challenge, winning medals in both team and individual events.
Swimmers challenge themselves to swim the maximum number of metres in thirty minutes.
Stuart Dyer 1685 m., Duncan Heenen 1265m., Lindsey Shenton 1890m. and Jenny Ball 1445m., won bronze medals in the age group totalling 240-279 years, placing third behind two of the largest masters clubs, Birmingham and Gloucester.
Individual silver and gold medals were also won by Lindsey, 55-59 years, and Jenny respectively.
Competing in the Welsh Open Masters Championships in Swansea and the Guernsey International Open Masters meet, Jenny encountered depleted opposition in her 75-79 years age group, bringing home 16 gold and two sliver medals in freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke events.
