2012 most improved swimmer

Isle of Wight Marlins Swimming Club were pleased to award their ‘Most Improved Swimmer’ cup to Janine Smith for her hard work and dedication in the water. Despite the club pool, The Heights, being closed for most of 2012, Janine continued to meet with other club members at Medina to swim on a regular basis working hard on her fitness and technique.

Janine was amazed and delighted to receive the award “I’ve never swum competitively but decided to join Marlins four years ago to keep active and fit. Other members have been so encouraging which has helped to keep me motivated. I’m overwhelmed that the club awarded the cup to me this year.”
