Jane Asher swim clinic
World record holder, Jane Asher, returned to Marlins to run a master class in swimming technique.

Marlins swimming club were delighted that Jane Asher accepted their invitation to run a swimming master class at The Heights on Monday 3rd December. Jane holds 47 world records, some of these have been held since 2001. She is one of only six British World record holders – one of which is Mark Foster. Fiona Seymour, Chairman of Marlins said “At the age of 81 Jane is an absolute inspiration and a wonderful ambassador to the sport. She’s achieved so much in her lifetime and we’re honoured that she visited the Isle of Wight to share some of her considerable experience with us”.
Due to popular demand Jane concentrated on butterfly and tumble turns with many of the swimmers trying these for the first time.
